What I'm Drinking now, Vol. 8, no. 87

Looks like a re-fill is in order

2008 Domaine Bart Marsannay Rosé

Delicious pinot noir rosé from a terrific producer, and one of my favorite areas of Burgundy, way up north in the Cotes de Nuits: Marsannay. Gouleyant (I recently learned that's French for 'gulpable'), fresh, precise, and surprisingly, not bad with spicy nacho Doritos.

I am quite ready for some Mandelay Burmese take-out....

Madalay Burma take out eh? Good place? We have yet to really explore the take out options here...

It's the Mandalay in the Richmond. Natalie was there and brought some home. Not nearly as good as I remember it, though. Much less Burmese specific flavors and generic Chinese American stir fry instead. Maybe the wrong dishes were ordered?

Blue Elephant up the hill on Cortland is not bad for Thai.

I enjoyed this installment of 'what i'm drinking now," but i think you really hit your stride in Vol 6, nos 14-23.

not that the modern versions are bad though, i like these too.
