Leeks sauteed in butter, salt, pepper and grated nutmeg over toasted bread, with defaced bottle of one-time Rheinhessen riesling, Austria-tized.

I made this without the nutmeg and with a bit of chicken demiglace to gild the lily.

It was the munching course with veal meatballs for a Grosses Gewachs tasting.

The leeks disappeared.

Thanks for the idea.

Btw Shaefer Frolich Halenberg 2006 GG is drinking wonderfully.
