You are too kind; I would not call missing...David,

You are too kind; I would not call missing both the producer name and AOC a "minor discrepancy." Oh well, Les Baux, Costieres de Nimes, not too far off. I did not remember that it was Henri Milan, but did remember that it was a Domaine Select wine, which is what led me to think it was Chateau de la Tuilerie. I will correct this post right now. So I will think fond thoughts for the folks who get to taste the 2008 and I will toast them with the 2007, 2006, etc.
Best, JimFlorida Jimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08425683028082383050noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8322497686869465958.post-42747247829168988642009-11-17T14:00:00.177-08:002009-11-17T14:00:00.177-08:00PS: I missed out on getting any of the '08 Ov...PS: I missed out on getting any of the '08 Overnoy Ploussard as well, Jim, which is why I just had to order a bottle even if it was a measly little 750.David McDuffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03274955351036700406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8322497686869465958.post-19503972855059793272009-11-17T13:58:18.946-08:002009-11-17T13:58:18.946-08:00Ack, you've beat me to the punch again.... An...Ack, you've beat me to the punch again.... And another fine job, I must say. Only one minor discrepancy: I believe the wine you've noted as a Costieres de Nimes blanc was actually "Le Grand Blanc" from Henri Milan, one of Bguy's faves. If the Nimes wine was on the table too, I somehow managed to miss it.

Aside from that, I would add that the blurry memories regarding what exactly we ate at Bar Jamón might have a little something to do with how much we drank at The Ten Bells. Definitely a blast.David McDuffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03274955351036700406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8322497686869465958.post-90057322890401936162009-11-17T07:38:48.047-08:002009-11-17T07:38:48.047-08:002008 Houillon/Overnoy Ploussard
