It's still packing plenty of sour fruit but has softened in tartness and lost a good deal of its effervescence.David McDuffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03274955351036700406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8322497686869465958.post-59889620021196166362009-12-14T09:47:12.339-08:002009-12-14T09:47:12.339-08:00Glad you enjoyed it, David. Lou Pepe from cask - sounds like I need to get to Monk's Cafe (what is it about Monk, the 'Monk's Kettle' here in SF is another great beer and food spot). Any idea when the Drie Fonteinen Oude Kriek was bottled? The only fruit lambic I've had that had softened considerably was a bottle of Hansen's Oudbeitje lambic which was bottled sometime in 2000 and was delicious.Joe Manekinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04068628197191676490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8322497686869465958.post-55884651265154525582009-12-13T19:59:04.366-08:002009-12-13T19:59:04.366-08:00Great post, Joe. Did drink Drie Fonteinen's "Oude Kriek" just the other day, though, which had gone back to being nearly still and was really quite delicious.David McDuffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03274955351036700406noreply@blogger.com
